Welcome to my website. I am a researcher and academic in Information Systems at the Technical University of Munich. My research explores the role of digital technologies in transforming healthcare, with a particular focus on mental health and primary care.
I work at the intersection of healthcare and information systems, where digital innovations are no longer just tools, but catalysts for systemic change. My research investigates how technologies—such as patient-generated health data (PGHD), intelligent platforms, and AI—can support participatory, data-driven, and resilient models of care.
I develop and evaluate socio-technical systems that integrate PGHD into clinical workflows, particularly for depression treatment. My work combines design science and empirical research to create scalable solutions that are clinically relevant, ethically sound, and user-centered. This includes building platforms for structured data collection and visualization, identifying user types and digital divides, and advancing our understanding of how innovations diffuse across complex healthcare environments.
